The Charities
"The Alzheimer's Research Trust is the UK's leading research charity for dementia. We are dedicated to funding scientific studies to find ways to treat, cure or prevent Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, Lewy Body disease and fronto-temporal dementia.
We do not receive any government funding and instead rely on donations from individuals, companies and charitable trusts, money raised by individuals and gifts left in people's Wills to fund our vital work." - source, www.alzheimers-research.org.uk
I have decided to support this charity as my grandmother has Alzheimers disease, and I know first hand the heavy impact this can have on an individual, as well as their family and friends. Having seen what Alzheimers can do, it is essential that we find a cure for it, and fast, as statistics show that one day, many of us will suffer from this disease, and it is not a fate I would wish upon anybody.
Support Pedalling Britain, and help find a cure for Alzheimers today

"Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses. Since being established in the UK in 1986, we have granted over 5,600 wishes." - source, www.make-a-wish.org.uk
The wishes granted by the foundation range from meeting a child's favourite sportsman - for example, Formula 1 driver Jenson Button is a patron of the Make A Wish foundation, to having an artificial beach built in the home of a child who would otherwise not get to experience the seaside.
I am supporting Make-A-Wish as the positive attitudes, and love for life these children and young people display in the face of adversity humbles me, and I feel priviledged to be in a position where I can help the foundation make their wishes come true.
Donate some money to Pedalling Britain, and help grant magical wishes to children today.
