Fundraising
The main aim of my bike ride and fundraising campaign is to raise as much money as possible for the two charities I am supporting, which are the Alzheimers Research Trust, and the Make A Wish Foundation. You can follow the progress of the fundraising campaign by means of our Blue Peter styled totalizer, which you can see by clicking here.
Sponsor & Get Involved
This fundraising campaign cannot succeed without you, the generous sponsors and supporters of the campaign. wWe would like to recognise this, by naming each sponsor and supporter personally, in no particular order, on the totalizer page of this website.
If you would like to sponsor Martin on his 'epic' bike ride along the length of Britain, then please get in touch with him to pledge some money, or you could make an online donation.
We aim to run a variety of events designed solely to raise money for Pedalling Britain. Follow this link to see our events calander and find out more.
Get Involved:
If you would like to do more than simply donate money, or you are short of cash, you might like to get involved in some other way. You could, for instance, become a fundraiser, where I would send you a sponsorship form, and you collect sponsors on my behalf, or you could help advertise my charitable cycling adventure, by telling your friends, or putting up posters (which I could send you) in your local town or village. To do any of these things, please contact me.
Remember, the success of this campaign is based almost entirely on you and your support. whether you have sponsored me, publicised the campaign, voulunteerd as a fundraiser, or a combination of the above, your continued effort and support is hugely appreciated. Thank You.
&
Of the money you donate, 50% will go to the Alzheimers Research Trust, and the other 50% will go to the Make A Wish Foundation. I would like to make it clear that in no way will any of the money you have generously pledged be used to purchase equipment, pay for food or accomadation, administration costs or anything like that. I am guarenteeing that 100% of the money you pledge will go to our two charities.
